How to donate:
Palestine 2025 Volunteer program
UPdate: on august 5th, three volunteers from double down will be embarking on a journey through jordan to the border of palestine. We will be carrying two suitcases of boards to donate to ps skateboarding.
We need your help.
Double Down has now completed phase one of the journey: getting to Jordan!
Upon arrival to the airport, we found one of our board donation bags in shambles. Luckily no boards missing but just a few wheels and bearings we picked up from the shop lost. 😞
We depart to the border of Palestine at 7am on August 7th. Please keep us in your prayers to get through calm and safely.
Projects for Palestine 2025:
Amount Raised: $18,500 usd
Goal: $30,000 usd
At this moment, we’ve donated around $30 to two little kids in Jordan as they asked us for baby formula and a bag of rice. We are only in Jordan for less than 24 hours as a rest stop before continuing the journey to Palestine.
This mission to Cairo below has now been complete!
“Double Down has been volunteering in Palestine since 2019, helping run programs for Palestinian families and youth in the West Bank. On July 16th, four volunteers, using their own funds, will be leaving for Cairo to distribute essential aid to Palestinian refugees through community fundraising efforts of the past several months.
Support Our Humanitarian Mission to Palestine
We are currently raising funds to provide direct humanitarian aid to families affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. Our mission is rooted in compassion, solidarity, and the urgent need to support displaced families and vulnerable communities during this critical time.
Our primary goal is to deliver cash aid directly into the hands of families who have fled Gaza, as well as those still residing within Gaza whenever access allows. We are working to ensure that every dollar donated is personally handed over to trusted local organizations and families in need—without intermediaries—ensuring transparency, accountability, and immediate impact.
In addition to financial assistance, we are collecting and transporting essential skateboarding equipment and supplies, which will be distributed to youth in the region. These items not only offer a source of joy and mental relief but also foster community, creativity, and resilience among children who are growing up in extremely challenging conditions.
We are also seeking support to help cover the logistical costs of this effort, including purchasing suitcases and transporting the donated gear.
Your support—whether financial, material, or by spreading the word—means the world to us and to those we serve. We are committed to volunteering our time and energy on the ground in the West Bank, working directly with local partners and communities to bring hope, relief, and solidarity.
Thank you for standing with us and with Palestine.
Egypt 2024 Volunteer program
Amount Raised: $23,064.26 usd
Goal: $40,000 usd
“Double Down has been volunteering in Palestine since 2019, helping run programs for Palestinian families and youth in the West Bank. On July 16th, four volunteers, using their own funds, will be leaving for Cairo to distribute essential aid to Palestinian refugees through community fundraising efforts of the past several months.
We are looking to raise life-saving funds for these families who have survived unimaginable loss and hardship in the face of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Palestine. Displaced families depend on mutual aid to survive. Despite paying thousands of dollars in evacuation fees to escape the illegal bombardment of their homes in Gaza, many of these families are denied the ability to work and feed their children after crossing the border.
All funds and essential aid will be distributed to Palestinian families that have crossed into Egypt to help these families afford rent and purchase food, clothes, medicine, and other necessities. 100% of all money raised will be distributed directly to Palestinian families.
We believe that mutual aid work is essential in the fight for Palestinian liberation and is an act of resistance against the unjust Israeli military occupation. Will you help us in our efforts to help Palestinian families stay alive?”

What is happening in Gaza?
For half a century, Israel’s illegal occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip has resulted in ongoing systemic human rights violations against Palestinians. Israel’s ruthless policies of land confiscation, illegal settlements and dispossession, coupled with rampant dehumanization & discrimination, have inflicted immense suffering upon Palestinians, depriving them of their most basic human rights.

For the past 8 months, Palestinians in Gaza have endured one of the worst humanitarian crises of our time. Israel, with the support of at least $12.5 billion dollars in U.S. military aid, has killed more than 38,000 Palestinians, including over 15,000 children, with thousands more unaccounted for under the rubble. The British medical journal, The Lancet, recently issued a warning in July 2024 with a conservative estimate that the true death toll could be over 186,000 people. Due to Israel’s immense destruction of infrastructure and healthcare technology as well as the targeting of journalists and healthcare workers in Gaza, data collection has become a major challenge. As for displaced families seeking relief from the bombings, they often have little to no time to move their entire lives to ‘designated safe zones’, only for the IDF to then knowingly bomb these safe zones, targeting hospitals, schools and refugee camps, ultimately killing and displacing Palestinian families with nowhere left to go.
According to a June 2024 report from the UN, upwards of half the people in Gaza are expected to face death and starvation by mid-July. Despite these estimates, our goal is to ensure the survival of as many Palestinians as possible, focusing all our efforts towards distributing mutual aid to displaced Palestinian refugees that have escaped into Cairo.

Thank you for standing with Palestine. For standing with the women, men and children that wish to live, who continue on, despite everything. We believe that we will witness Palestinian liberation within our lifetimes. We will never give up. We will never give in. We all have a part to play. Thank you. حرية لفلسطين
